低压开关柜的各回路除了容量较大以外，其回路元件应当有断路元件、操作元件及相应的保护元件。但是配电箱的各回路容量很小，各回路没有断路元件，只有小容量操作元件。
In addition to large capacity, the circuit elements of low-voltage switchgear should include circuit breakers, operating elements and corresponding protective elements. But the capacity of each circuit of the distribution box is very small. There are no circuit breakers in each circuit, only small capacity operating elements.
配电箱仅仅是低压回路的一个扩展，当需要较多小容量且不重要的供电回路时，从低压开关柜来一回电源，在配电箱内分成多路供电回路,以节省投资。
Distribution box is only an extension of low-voltage circuit. When more small and unimportant power supply circuits are needed, the power supply comes back from low-voltage switchgear and is divided into multiple power supply circuits in the distribution box to save investment.
